1. About these terms

This website is operated by Trade in Baltic, SIA, a private limited company registered in the Republic of Latvia (registered office: Andrejostas iela 17, Rīga, LV-1045; reg. no. 40203581354; VAT no. LV40203581354).

By accessing the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell, a solicitation to buy, or a binding quotation for any commodity. All commercial terms — price, specification, quantity, delivery, payment, governing contract — are agreed separately and confirmed in writing.

2. Acceptable use

You may browse the site, request information through our contact form, and use the published material for your own non-commercial reference and for evaluating whether to engage with us commercially.

You may not: scrape or harvest content using automated tools beyond what a normal browser issues; copy, republish, or redistribute material without our written permission; attempt to interfere with the site, probe it for vulnerabilities, or reverse-engineer it; submit false information through the contact form; or use the site in any way that breaches Latvian or EU law.

3. Intellectual property

Site content — including text, graphics, logos, photography, and layout — is the property of Trade in Baltic, SIA or used under licence from the rights holder. Trade in Baltic and the Trade in Baltic wordmark are unregistered trade marks of Trade in Baltic, SIA.

No licence is granted by the publication of this site. Any other use requires our prior written consent.

4. No warranty

The site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no representations or warranties about availability, uninterrupted operation, freedom from errors, or the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any content.

In particular, product descriptions, specifications, photographs, and indicative volumes shown on the site are illustrative. Nothing on the site should be treated as a binding offer, technical guarantee, or fitness-for-purpose statement; the only authoritative description of a specific cargo is the one issued in the contract for that cargo.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Latvian law, Trade in Baltic, SIA will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.

Our total liability arising from or in connection with the site is capped at EUR 1,000. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Latvian law — including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or gross negligence.

6. Third-party links

The site may contain links to third-party websites. We do not control those sites, do not endorse them, and are not responsible for their content or practices. Following any such link is at your own risk and subject to the terms and policies of the destination site.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version always carries a "last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes affecting existing commercial engagements are not introduced via this page — those are handled through the relevant contract.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with the site are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

The courts of Riga, Latvia have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute. Nothing in this clause limits any non-waivable consumer rights under EU law, where applicable.
